FLIGHTS

EasyJet flies from London Luton and Gatwick to Catania. Non direct Alitalia flights come into Milan, Naples or Rome, and then onto Catania or Palermo. The earlier you book the cheaper the flights!

CAR HIRE

All airlines have there own car hire agents.  www.rentalcars.com  or  www.kayak.com are comparison excellent comparison websites with very competitive rates.

Please make sure you have a valid driving licence and a credit card (not a debit card, unless you are willing to pay a steep deposit). Most of these car rental companies have an office at Catania Airport (Fontanarossa) and generally speak good English.

ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION

The best place to stay is Palazzolo Acreide about 30 min drive to Casa Khalesa. There are also B&B’s in our area Testa dell’Acqua,, Rosolini, and Antica Noto.

There is also a Monastery ‘Monastero di San Benedetto’ in Noto which charges a very economical price. Prices start from €20 per person/night including breakfast. Details can all be found at; www.bookings.com  and www.airbandb.com
